THAILAND · INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION

Present the dispute.
With a clear strategy.

International commercial arbitration experience connecting Thailand, Hong Kong and overseas counterparties.

A dispute begins with
the contract and the evidence.

David has acted as counsel in institutional arbitrations involving international sales of goods, including THAC proceedings in Thailand and an ICC proceeding in Los Angeles. These are counsel roles on behalf of parties, distinct from the arbitrator’s role.

His experience spans transaction drafting, contractual analysis, claims preparation and the presentation of commercial disputes. A useful initial enquiry identifies the contract, any arbitration clause, the stage of the dispute and relevant dates.

  • Contractual claims and international trading disputes
  • Arbitration-clause and governing-law issues
  • Case chronology, documentary evidence and witness preparation
  • Claims, responses and commercial dispute strategy
  • Settlement discussions and cross-border counterparties
  • Coordination of jurisdiction-specific advice where required

ARBITRATOR PANELS

THAC & AIAC.

David is on the panels of arbitrators at the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) and the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC). These panel appointments are distinct from his experience acting as counsel for parties in THAC and ICC proceedings.
